TALKS

The following talks and workshops are available:

For Churches:

HOLLYWOOD vs. FAITH: The struggle to live faithfully in the media age
Frank’s humorous talk about the media, often reviewed as “the best speech we’ve ever heard.”

ST. PAUL’S “Letter to the Americans”
“Do not be conformed to this age but be transformed”...  Key passages from St. Paul’s writings, reflecting on our American idols, and calling us to know the joy of faith, hope, and love.

LECTOR WORKSHOP
Frank explains how he approaches a text, and coaches lectors individually.

ACTING WORKSHOP
Frank teaches the techniques he’s found most helpful for acting and speaking in public (great for youth and drama groups).

For Schools:

THE MAN BEHIND THE CURTAIN  (or: An Insider's Look at the Media)
A humorous look at the media wizards and why they never tell us the truth (even if they’d like to)--great for prep schools, public schools, or civic organizations.

TREASURE  (or: Life After Prep School:  What They Don’t Tell You)
Humorous life lessons, especially good for Juniors and Seniors in the winter or spring.

ACTING WORKSHOP
A “master class” in which Frank teaches the most helpful acting techniques he’s learned in New York and Hollywood, and coaches individual actors in their monologues.

STORYTELLING WORKSHOP
An eye-opening “guest lecture” about the structure of a good story, in the tradition of Hollywood’s screenwriting guru, Robert McKee (great for English classes).
